Mr. Lee Vander Spencer, Sr., 88, of Eagle Springs, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 10, 2024, at his residence. Arrangements are entrusted to McLeod Funeral Home of Southern Pines, North Carolina.
Walk Through Viewing: 4 p.m. — 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at McLeod Funeral Home- Southern Pines, 151 S. Hardin Street, Southern Pines, NC 28387.
Viewing at noon and Funeral Service at 1 p.m. both on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Zion Grove AME Zion Church, 9584 NC Highway 705, Eagle Springs, NC 27242.
Interment: Immediately following at church cemetery.
Survivors: Clara McNeill, Cynthia Mitchell, Lee Spencer, Jr. (Teresa), Sherry McLean, Terrie McNeill (Edward), Joseph E. Spencer; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a very special family, the Causey family.
