He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother, Pauline McKayhan; three sons, Mark Anthony McKayhan Jr. of Lumberton, NC; Justin Canfield of Aberdeen, NC, Phillip Canfield of Greensboro, NC; two stepdaughters, Louise Stancil of Fayetteville, NC; Rhonda Stancil of Raeford, NC; one brother Ret. Lt. Col. James M. McKayhan (Marilyn) of Charlotte, NC; three sisters, Paulette Ross (Andre’) of Durham, NC; Margaret Lloyd (Frank) of Durham, NC; Linda Nicholson (Jerry) of Greensboro, NC and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 1255 West Illinois Avenue in Southern Pines.
