Patricia Lou (Williams) Odom, 65 of Sanford, passed on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.
A visitation will be held from 2 PM to 3:30 PM on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines followed by a funeral service at 3:30 PM with Rev. Bucky Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow the service in Bethesda Cemetery in Aberdeen.
Mrs. Odom was born September 1, 1956 in Lee County to the late, Robert Spencer Williams and Jessie Bell (Harrington) Williams.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Phillip Dudley Odom; A daughter, Jaime Odom Blue of Cameron; a son, Phillip “Ponch” Odom, Jr. and wife Nicole of Sanford; two brothers, Bobby Williams and wife Ann of Indian Trail, NC; and Douglas Williams and wife Margaret of Sanford, NC; a sister, Jane Bartlett and husband Tony of Clayton, NC; five grandchildren, Madison Lee Blue, Mason Dudlee Odom, Grayson Lee Odom, Katlin Marie Beck, and Emily Brianna Patterson; one great-grandchild, Brantley Thomas.
Patricia was a devoted wife, perfect Mama, loving Nana/Nannie, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, sight-seeing and loved being outside. She also loved her favorite sidekick and sweetest boy “Boobear”. Her marriage of 46 years was that of unspoken love and devotion. They were always together; when you see one, you always saw the other. She worked on cars with Daddy and they both taught each other so much!
