Winferd (Billy) Cox, 85, of Aberdeen passed away March 10, 2022 at Hospice House. He served in the National Guard of North Carolina as a Reserve of the United States, then he served in the United States Navy.
Preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Cox, both parents, Charles & Reba Cox; his siblings: Sarah, Buddy, Mary Ann and Johnny and one great grandson: Rylan Bibey.
He is survived by two daughters: Frankie Cox Colasacco, of Aberdeen and Lynn Cox Bibey, (William) of Bristol, TN. A grandson, Michael Bibey (Tyndall) of Carthage; a granddaughter, Jennifer Bibey Bryant, (DJ) of Vass and 5 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Ashley Heights Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, March 20th, 2022 at 2 pm with Pastor Dr. David Boroughs officiating.
