Richard P. Moore age 74, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Pinehurst.
Richard was born September 16, 1943 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Russell and Alice Moore. Richard was a graduate of Memorial High School in West New York, New Jersey and did his undergraduate work at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. Employed as a business manager throughout his career, he retired as the Head Administrator for Bond Eye Associates in Pekin, Illinois. He and his wife Marsha then returned to the Pinehurst area.
Richard is survived by three sons, Steven Moore, Phillip Daggerhart and Aaron Daggerhart, two daughters, Shannon Daggerhart and Melissa Ellis, three grandsons, Patrick, Dominic and Oliver, three granddaughters, Zoe, Josephine and Stella Rose, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in Richard’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research hospital, Memorials and Honors Program, 501 St. Jude’s place, Memphis TN 38105.
Services will be private.
