Elton Clarke Turner, age 90, of Carthage, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at St. Joseph of the Pines.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Cross Hill Cemetery in Carthage with Military Honors.
Elton was born in New York on November 11, 1934, to the late Earl Benjamin Turner and Catherine Edmonds Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Alice Turner, and brother, Earl Turner.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children, Scott A. Turner of Florida, Susan Turner Hood of Texas, David C. Turner (Lori) of Tennessee; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
