The O’Neal School inducted 16 students into the prestigious International Thespian Honor Society during a ceremony held on Thursday, Sept. 11.
Founded in 1929 in Fairmount, West Virginia, the society promotes excellence in theater arts in secondary schools and now boasts over 2.2 million members worldwide.
The event celebrated both new and returning thespians who have demonstrated dedication, creativity, and leadership in the performing arts. During the ceremony, select speakers reflected on the growth of O’Neal’s theater program—from a small group of passionate performers to a vibrant community that supports multiple productions and festival participation.
Inductees were encouraged to embrace their creativity and find inspiration in the supportive environment that O’Neal Theater offers.
The following students signed the 2025–2026 roster: Caitlyn Blocklinger, Platon Korobko, Sophia Graziano, Harper Hairston, Marcus Alberto, Hannah Wilcox, Aiden Wilcox, Camden Lovsin, Paige Greytek, Marley Pace, Emme Ayers, Adelyn Pohlmeyer, King Martin Magee, Lacy Boyd, Holden Boyd, and Amiya Ravula.
“O’Neal School congratulates these students on their achievements and looks forward to another exciting year of theatrical excellence,” said the school in a press release.
