A pickup truck crashed into a creek near Cameron on Friday afternoon.
According to authorities, the driver was traveling east on Cypress Church Road and was a little left of center when she met another car on a hill, overcorrected, and went off the road before landing in Old Field Branch Creek on the left side of the bridge.Â
The truck had minor damage, and the driver walked away unscathed.Â
The driver was suspected to be going at a high rate of speed, according to officials.Â
Cypress Pointe Fire Department and N.C. State Highway Patrol were on the scene.Â
