The Family Dollar in Pinebluff on S. Walnut Street was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday evening. The call came into 911 around 8:30 p.m.
The assailant is a black male who is about 5 feet 9 inches tall, early to mid-20s, wearing a hat, plaid shirt, blue jeans and white shoes, according to Pinebluff Police Sergeant D.Thomas. He was wearing a bandana over his face and fled the store.
Pinebluff Police, as well as the Moore County Sheriff’s Department, responded and were on scene within minutes of the call.

The store was closed to customers and staff could be seen speaking with officers inside the store.
The Family Dollar in Raeford was robbed by a suspect with the same description the previous night.
