The Southern Pines Police arrested two local men after a recent investigation and are currently looking for a third suspect, according to a news release from the police department.
Authorities are asking the public’s help to find the wanted man. An arrest warrant has been issued Delojuwon Montrese Campbell for the charge of resist, delay, and obstruction of a public officer.
The two suspects arrested were Brandon Lamar Ray, 27 of Southern Pines, and Arie James McCants, 18, of Aberdeen.
Ray was taken to the Moore County Detention Center, placed under a $6,000 secured bond and charged with possession of a firearm by convicted felon, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is due in court on Feb. 6.
McCants was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and “appeared before a Moore County Magistrate where he was released from custody pending a hearing in Moore County District Court on February 27.”

Chief Bob Temme offered the following comment after the conclusion of the investigation.
“This investigation is yet another step towards our goal of making our communities safer. Keeping guns out of the hands of convicted felons is one of my top priorities. We will continue to aggressively pursue those who illegally possess firearms and who endanger the lives of both police officers and citizens of our community.”
