Two facing felony conspiracy, obtaining property by false pretense charges

The Aberdeen Police Department issued a press release announcing the arrests of Isia Fraser, 20, of Southern Pines, and Simeon Peterkin, 20, of Pinehurst.

The press release said officers received a report on Oct. 14 of a credit card stolen from Southern Pines and used at Walmart and other businesses within Southern Pines.

“Aberdeen officers investigated this case in tandem with Southern Pines Police Department where we were able to identify the suspects in this case,” said the release. “The amount of credit card charges exceeds $3,000.”

The suspects were arrested and taken before a Moore County magistrate and served with their outstanding warrants. Fraser was given a $500 secured bond, and Peterkin was given a written promise.
