Six arrested after drug investigation

Six people were arrested after a drug investigation in the Star area of Moore County, announced Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a statement. 

“On April 13, 2022, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 500 block of Browers Mill Road,” said Fields. “During the investigation, Deputies located heroin, methamphetamine, tetrahydrocannabinols, methylphenidate hydrochloride, firearms, items of drug paraphernalia, and items of marijuana paraphernalia. The search warrant was executed at the conclusion of a drug investigation.”

The following were arrested as a result:

John Robert Brower, 45, of Star.

Charges- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substances, Simple Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substances, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia, and 4 counts of Possession of Firearm by Felon.
Bond: $75,000, secured.

Devin Caine Brower, 23, of Star.
Charges- Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Bond: $7,500, secured.

Christopher Shane Crumley, 46, of Biscoe.
Charges- Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Bond: $15,000, secured.

William Jeffery Cook, 30, of Eagle Springs.
Charges- Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Bond: $5,000, secured.

Sherry Adrienne Illerbrun, 39, of Robbins.
Charges- Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Bond: $7,500, secured.

Johnny Ray Ritter, 39, of Robbins.
Charges- Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Johnny Ray Ritter was also served with an outstanding order for arrest.
Bond: $8,000, secured.

All suspects are due in court on May 18 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
