Three arrested, meth and marijuana seized

A search in the 2200 block of Highway 211 in Eagle Springs led to the arrests of three suspects.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrests of Justin Freeman, Conrad Morfin Jr. and Christopher Damico. All three men are from Eagle Springs.

Officials with Moore County Probation/Parole and Moore County Sheriff’s Department seized methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug and marijuana paraphernalia after searching a home on Wednesday, June 22.

Freeman, 38, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His secured bond was set at $2,500.

Morfin, 53, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. The suspect’s unsecured bond was set at $2,500.

Damico, 38, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was given a $250 secured bond.

All three suspects are due in court on July 27 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
