A Cameron man is facing three drug charges after being pulled over in Vass on Tuesday.
George Baker, 56, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
“On August 16, 2022, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop in the 2500 block of U.S. Highway 1-Business in Vass,” said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a news release. “During the traffic stop, Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle. As a result of the search, Deputies located methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia.”
The suspect’s secured bond was set at $2,500 after being placed in the Moore County Detention Center. He is due in court next week.
