MCSO: 'We believe the remains of Allisha Watts have been located'

Vigils continue for missing Foxfire resident Allisha Watts.

Watts’ friend, Brittany Harris, told ABC 11 News her thoughts about the unconscious man found in Watts’ car in Anson County.

Harris waited for a caravan at the former Southern Pines Elementary School to go to Anson County for a third vigil. She said the situation of Watts still missing was scary and that the man preyed on her friend and made her feel comfortable.

“Allisha never, never had any suspicions about this man,” Harris said.

“CMPD (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says Watts’ boyfriend, James Dunmore, is “important” to the investigation but would not go as far as to say he is a person of interest in her disappearance,” said WBTV.

The third vigil was held in Anson County at the Department of Motor Vehicles because it was close to where Watts’ car was found.
