A 41-year-old man was arrested following a Monday traffic stop on Lea Road in West End.
“Detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office initiated the stop due to a revoked driver’s license, leading to a search of the vehicle that uncovered cocaine and drug paraphernalia,” said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a Tuesday news advisory.
As a result, Jermaad Allbrooks, of West End, was arrested on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Allbrooks was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a 48-hour hold with a first court appearance scheduled for March 6 in Moore County district court.
