Woman arrested after domestic assault in Aberdeen

An Aberdeen woman was arrested after a domestic assault on Wednesday. The incident occurred at a home in the 700 block of Harris Street in Aberdeen around 7:30 p.m.

EMS took a woman to the hospital due to a facial laceration. Her condition is unknown but is believed to be non-life-threatening.

Aberdeen Police arrested 51-year-old Tonya Dail on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting serious injury.

Dail was placed at the Moore County Detention Center. Her bond was set at $10,000.

She is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
