American Legion, A.B. Sally Jr. Post 350 in Pinehurst, awarded cadets Jessie Vences and Kaylee Akerlund, the Military Excellence and Scholastic Excellence certificates and medals.
Cadet Sarah Holder was awarded the Jessie Wilson Cole Patriot Scholarship.
The awards were presented by Post 350 Commander Tom Kindle during the Pinecrest High School AFJROTC military ball banquet which was held Saturday, May 7 at the Whispering Pines Country Club.
On Tuesday, May 24, Emma Mack was awarded the Walter Edward Maness Patriot Scholarship by Kindle during the North Moore High School scholarship banquet held at the First Baptist Church in Robbins.
