The Moore County Sheriff’s Office has announced two updates regarding Animal Services.
Effective Jan. 4, 2025, the Animal Services shelter will expand its operating hours to include Saturdays, providing greater accessibility and more opportunities for animal adoptions across the county.
Additionally, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office is now active on the “Nextdoor” app, a popular social media platform that will help increase public awareness of adoptable animals and other updates.
These initiatives have been implemented in response to valuable public feedback shared during recent county commissioners’ meetings.
