The Moore County Health Department has been notified of confirmed positive COVID-19 test results for one staff member and one resident of Quail Haven Village located in Pinehurst.
The two positive test results were generated by voluntary testing of all residents and staff conducted at Quail Haven on August 7 and 10.
Quail Haven administrators are currently working on a plan for further testing.
With the addition of Quail Haven, Moore County’s cumulative total of COVID-19 outbreaks in long-term care is now seven since the pandemic began. Those facilities are Accordius Health at Aberdeen, The Greens at Pinehurst Rehabilitation & Living Center, Fox Hollow Senior Living, Peak Resources Pinelake, Pinehurst Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, and Seven Lakes Assisted Living & Memory Care.
