First responders were called to a single-vehicle accident outside of High Falls Saturday morning, leaving a car in a mangled mess.
High Falls Fire and Rescue said on Facebook it was dispatched to the accident at 7 a.m. on Putnam-Glendon Road near Highway 22.
When crews arrived, the driver was out of the vehicle. EMS took the driver to the hospital.
The vehicle went off the road into the woods and hit a tree.
“This is 2nd accident in last 3 days our dept has responded to that could have ended much worse,” said High Falls Fire and Rescue.
