Fire crews battle vacant house blaze

A vacant house in Robbins caught on fire shortly before 11 a.m. on Thursday.

The house, on the corner of North Howard Mill Road and Cedar Road, is located down a short driveway, tucked away in the woods.

A passerby called in the fire. Property owners stated that the house was vacant and primarily used for storage.

Authorities said the cause of the fire is under investigation, and no other details were provided.

The Robbins Fire Department, Bennett Fire Department, Moore County Sheriff’s Office and Moore County EMS responded.
