Detectives from the Moore County Sheriff’s Department arrested four individuals on multiple drug charges on Thursday.
“On January 25th, 2024, Detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Matherson Lane in Eagle Springs,” said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a statement issued to Sandhills Sentinel.
During the investigation, detectives located suspected heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, oxycodone, suboxone, multiple items of drug paraphernalia, and a firearm.
“The executed search warrant was the conclusion of a drug investigation,” said Fields.
Albert Caddell, 55, of Eagle Springs, was arrested on charges of possession of heroin, felony possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place to keep a controlled substance, simple possession of schedule II-controlled substance, simple possession of schedule III-controlled substance, simple possession of schedule VI-controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sarah Becknell, 63, of Eagle Springs, was arrested on charges of possession of heroin, felony possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place to keep a controlled substance, simple possession of schedule II-controlled substance, simple possession of schedule III-controlled substance, simple possession of schedule VI-controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of firearm by felon.
Zabian Brower, 30, of Eagle Springs, was arrested on charges of felony possession of cocaine, simple possession of schedule VI-controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Larry Caddell, 63, of Robbins, was arrested on charges of felony possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Albert Caddell, Becknell, and Brower were committed to the Moore County Detention Center on a 48-hour hold based upon the recently enacted HB813.
Larry Caddell was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond.
All suspects are expected in court on Feb. 28 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
