Rebecca Hill raised money during a recent Bethesda Crafts fair where she sold her hand-made crafts and taught other people how to make them. She then took it to the Sheriff’s office to personally hand Sheriff Godfrey a $100 check to Animal Services.

“I want to give you this money because I love animals, and it feels amazing that I can help,” Rebecca told Sheriff Godfrey and Lieutenant Kirk.

“We are humbled and rewarded by Rebecca’s unsolicited generosity”, said Sheriff Godfrey.  “Her contribution will be put to good use. She is a great example for us all.”

Just a few days ago, Ione Gibson, sold lemonade and gave the proceeds to the Animal Services as well.
