One person was airlifted to a trauma center after having at least seven shots fired into a vehicle on Tuesday.
The car stopped on the side of the road on Highway 5 in Pinehurst near Blake Blvd.
According to authorities, the shooting did not happen on Highway 5. Officials believe the shooting occurred on Highway 15-501, but they did not specify the town.
