Rockwell Towing had their work cut out for them after a cement truck overturned into a ditch in Carthage Wednesday morning. First responders were initially alerted to reports of a truck overturned in the 1000 block of Dowd Road around 10:20 a.m.
Authorities on scene told the Sandhills Sentinel that the Speer Concrete truck was pulling into a driveway when its back passenger-side wheels slid into the culvert, flipping the truck onto its passenger side.
The driver of the truck was unharmed and did not require transport by EMS.

Rockwell Towing arrived and used heavy machinery to flip the truck upright again and haul it away.
Traffic in the area was slowed down while authorities worked to investigate and clear the scene of debris. No other vehicles were involved.
