A Moore County Schools bus was involved in a minor collision Monday morning in the Pinewild community, with no injuries reported.
The driver stated that he was about to turn left onto Ashkirk Drive behind the school bus when the bus started reversing to make a wide turn. The vehicles collided and sustained minor damage.
No injuries were reported, and all 27 students remained on board as the investigation was conducted.
The collision is the third involving a Moore County school bus in the past week. A bus was involved in a crash in West End Wednesday, followed by another collision outside Carthage Friday.
Pinehurst Police Department, Pinehurst Fire Department, and Moore County EMS responded to the scene.
