A motorcyclist avoided serious injury after crashing his bike on North Moore Road near the intersection with Carter Road in Robbins Wednesday morning.
Authorities on scene told Sandhills Sentinel that the man was headed north on North Moore Road when his brakes reportedly “locked up” while going around the curve.
The rider suffered some road rash and was taken to the hospital for further evaluation. The bike sustained little damage, aside from the mirror and windshield being knocked off.
Earlier this month, another motorcyclist in Robbins had to be airlifted for trauma after wrecking his motorcycle on Highway 24/27.
Moore County EMS, the Moore County Sheriff’s Department, the Robbins Fire Department, and Moore County Public Safety responded to the incident.
