A head-on collision resulted in one death Friday morning in the 1400 block of Lobelia Road in Vass.
At the scene, Trooper Lauren Palmiter said one person had minor injuries, and the other had life-threatening injuries.
A death notification was prepared within an hour of the accident for the person with life-threatening injuries.
Slick roadways from the drizzling rain were not indicated as a factor in the accident.
According to Palmiter, the accident involved only two people and was caused when a driver with medical issues crossed left of the centerline.
The accident involved two pickup trucks and stalled traffic for over an hour.
