See who is running for office in municipal elections

The filing period for the upcoming municipal elections ended on Friday. 

Absentee voting begins Oct. 3.

In-person early voting is Oct. 16-Nov. 1, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., and one Saturday on Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. -3 p.m. The early voting location is at the Moore County Agricultural Center, located at 707 Pinehurst Avenue, Carthage. The municipalities that do not participate in early voting are Cameron, Foxfire, and Robbins.

Election Day is Nov. 4.

A photo ID is required to vote.
