Jackson Hicks, former resident of Moore County, won the 200-yard breaststroke at Landmark Conference Championships.
Jackson, a freshman at The Catholic University of America, represented his team by swimming the 200-yard IM, 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard medley relay, and 800-yard free relay.
He placed third in IM and second in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Jackson earned the title of 2022 Landmark Conference Champion in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:03.99. This time is B cut for DIII national championships in Indianapolis, IN in March.
