A man from Carthage was arrested on drug charges after his home was searched and was given a $250,000 secured bond.
After obtaining a search warrant, Moore County Deputies searched James Turner’s residence on Wednesday and seized 32 grams of high-grade marijuana, a firearm, and assorted drug paraphernalia, according to a news release from Sheriff Godfrey.
Turner, from the 700 block of Hinson Road, was charged with three counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, three counts of selling and delivering marijuana, three counts of maintaining a dwelling for the storage of a controlled-substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and the possession of drug paraphernalia.
Turner, age 37, has a November 28th court date, according to arrest records.
