A 56-year-old man was arrested on drug charges after a probation search in Carthage, according to a statement from Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.
Moore County Probation/Parole and Moore County Sheriff’s Department found crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia during a “search in the 800 block of Currie Street” Monday.
James Wooten, of Carthage, was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond and charged with felony possession of cocaine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is due in court on Nov. 19 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
