A Laurinburg man was arrested for trafficking cocaine, according to a news release from Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
On June 26th, Seberiano Marquez Ramirez (44), who was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado truck, was stopped by Aberdeen Police in the Town and Country Shopping Center. Â Officers proceeded to search Ramirez’s truck, and they seized 2.2 pounds of cocaine and $860.00. Â According to Sheriff Godfrey, the total street value of the seized drugs is approximately $40,000.00.
According to the release, Ramirez was charged with: 4 counts of trafficking in cocaine, possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine, sell and deliver of cocaine, felony possession of cocaine and felony maintaining a vehicle for the storage of a controlled substance.Â
Ramirez was placed in the Moore County Detention Center where he was given a $500,000 secured bond.
