Man charged with 20 counts of sexual exploitation of minor

A 29-year-old man from Robbins is facing 20 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor charges after being arrested Tuesday.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said in a news statement Taylor Moore was arrested after “an investigation initiated by a tip provided through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.”

“During the investigation, files containing Child Sexual Exploitation Material were discovered in the subject’s possession,” said Fields.

Moore was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond and is facing charges of 10 counts of felony second degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 10 counts of felony third degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

“The investigation is still active and on-going, and additional charges may be obtained later,” said Fields.

The suspect is expected in court on Nov. 17 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
