Music and more at Live After 5

The highly anticipated Live After 5 concert series is back for 2025. Hosted at The Village Arboretum (375 Magnolia Road), this beloved community event promises live music, delicious food, and great company – all for free. Mark your calendars for an unforgettable season of fun, music, and entertainment.

Presented by The Gentry Team, Live After 5 is a free, family-friendly event featuring live performances, a variety of food trucks, and an assortment of beer, wine, and other beverages available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the evening comfortably.

Each concert will take place on the second Friday night in April, May, August, September and October, kicking off with an opener at 5:15 p.m., followed by a headlining act at 6 p.m. The festivities wrap up by 9 p.m., making it a perfect night out for music lovers of all ages.

May 9: Opener: Whiskey Pines | Headliner: Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot

Aug. 8: Opener: TBA | Headliner: Irresistible Groove

Sept. 12: Opener: TBA | Headliner: Bourbon Sons

Oct. 10: Opener: TBA | Headliner: Bounce

Parking for Live After 5 is available at Village Hall, Timmel Pavilion, and Rassie Wicker Park. Limited shuttle service will be available from the Cannon Park Community Center. Call (910) 295-2817 for available times.
