restaurant healthy twists classics

The new First Watch Restaurant will be serving breakfast, brunch and lunch in Aberdeen soon.

The COVID-19 crisis turned off the grill before the restaurant could have its grand opening, but First Watch hopes to open in the near future and assures their patrons’ safety is their main concern.

“We’ll continue to make decisions with the health and safety of our teams and customers at the forefront,” said First Watch Public Relations & Communications Manager Eleni Kouvatsos.

The full-service restaurant is located at the old Panera Bread location on Highway 15-501, next to Moe’s.

The menu offers the classic plate of bacon, eggs, seasoned potatoes and whole-grain artisan toast with housemade preserves and offers substitutions, such as turkey link sausage and lightly dressed mixed greens.

The healthy selection includes creamy avocado on toast, wrap choices, and yogurt dressed with granola and fruit with muffin options.

Cage-free egg dishes include Farmhouse Hash with bacon and potatoes, a Mediterranean dish with roasted vegetables and goat cheese – Market Hash, and the no explanation needed dishes, the Chickachanga, Elevated Egg Sandwich, and Farm-Stand Breakfast Tacos.

First Watch offers a wide range of omelets, pancakes, French toast, and waffles with syrups, berry compote, whipped butter and custards.

There is also a juice bar.

Keep your schedule clear and keep watch for First Watch’s grand opening.
