Drive-thru COVID-19 testing returns to Moore County Health Department, located at 705 Pinehurst Avenue in Carthage, starting this Friday and will continue to be offered each Friday thereafter.
Testing will be offered in the health department’s parking lot and operating hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Testing is open to the general public, and no physician referral is required.
Everyone who wishes to participate in testing should pre-register by calling 910-267-2044. Pre-registering will help to minimize wait times.
There will be no out-of-pocket cost for testing, regardless if an individual has health insurance or not. If you do have health insurance, please bring your insurance information with you when you come for testing.
This event is completely drive-thru only. All testing participants are instructed to remain in their vehicles throughout the testing process.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or think you may have COVID, you should stay away from others, wear a mask, and get tested.
