Nothing Bundt Cakes baking soon in Southern Pines

Nothing Bundt Cakes is opening soon in Southern Pines.

The bakery is located at 233 Carolina Green Parkway. The take-out-only shop is one of the new stores in the Morganton Park South shopping center, which is anchored by Target.

Pinehurst residents Thomas and Marissa Capel own the franchise store and the Fayetteville shop. Thomas Capel told Sandhills Sentinel they are waiting for their outside sign and final inspection. He hopes to open on Friday, Oct. 18, or the following week.

According to its website, Nothing Bundt Cakes was established in 1997 in Las Vegas by Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz. The specialty cake company has grown to over 500 locations in 40-plus states and Canada.

“Our Bundt Cakes are handcrafted in every bakery in a variety of delicious flavors and sizes,” says Nothing Bundt Cake’s website. “To top it all off, our bakeries offer a wide selection of retail items, including party supplies, décor and gifts, making Nothing Bundt Cakes the perfect one-stop celebration shop.”

The hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
