The latest Moore County Starbucks location officially opened its doors on Friday, Jan. 2, at the Morganton Park South development.
While the town already has several spots to grab a cup of joe, the new storefront has a latte to offer.
The new café, located at 215 Southern Rd., sits directly in front of BJ’s Wholesale Club. The facility features a standard full-service menu, including signature coffee beverages, teas, hot food, pastries, and sweets.
Designed to accommodate both commuters and those looking to stay a while, the site includes a drive-thru and ample indoor seating for dine-in customers.
The Morganton Park South development has seen a steady influx of national retailers over the past few years. This new Starbucks joins a lineup that includes the recently opened BJ’s Wholesale Club and Target.
The new storefront is an addition to the area’s footprint rather than a replacement. The Starbucks located inside the neighboring Target will remain operational, as will other established Starbucks locations in the area.
Store hours are Monday – Sunday, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
