Alice Diane (Rifenburg) Fung died on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the age of 76. She was at home in Pinehurst, NC where she had recently moved from Milford, DE.
A native of Kingston, NY, Diane was a graduate of Ithaca College. In addition to being a loving mother and supportive wife she taught music in New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Delaware. She was also an accomplished skier and tennis player and enjoyed golf, sewing, gardening and travel.
Diane is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gordon, their two children, Darelynn of Berwyn Hieghts, MD and Mark of Seattle, WA; her brothers Robert Rifenburg of Woodstock, NY and Ronald Rifenburg of Hurley, NY; her five grandchildren, Aeryn Goldstein, Sam Goldstein, Elta Goldstein, Cole Fung and Paige Fung, four nieces and a nephew.
A Gathering to Remember Diane will be on Saturday, December 15th at Abbott’s Grill in Milford, DE at 2:00pm.
