When emergency units arrived, they immediately requested air care, and a landing zone was set up at the Vass ball field.

The female driver, who was the only occupant, was transported to the landing zone, but once there, emergency personnel determined her condition did not require her to be airlifted to a trauma center, and she was instead transported to Moore Regional Hospital.

Cypress Church Road was down to one lane for a short period while crews worked the scene, and the vehicle was removed.

N.C. Highway Patrol was on the scene investigating the crash.

Responding units were Cypress Pointe Fire Department, Whispering Pines Fire Department (set up landing zone), Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff’s Office and N.C. Highway Patrol.
