Mr. Craig B. Perry of Aberdeen passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020, in his home at the age of 87.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at 11:00 at Ashley Heights Baptist Church with family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will follow in the church cemetery. Pastor David Boroughs will be officiating.

Mr. Perry was born in Washington, D.C. on July 5, 1932, to the late Sherwood and Ozella Toler Perry. Craig proudly served in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman in Okinowa, Japan and aboard the USS Cone for 10 years before becoming a respiratory therapist at the McCain Sanitorium. He retired after 27 years of service. He was an avid lover of sports, especially watching basketball and baseball where he would sometimes play himself. Craig also enjoyed swimming. He was a loving husband to his true love, Frances, of 58 years, as well as a loving father, brother, uncle  and grandfather.  Craig was preceded in death by his wife, Frances, and brother, Clyde. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of Ashley Heights Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Vera Parks and her husband, Mike, of West End, Lisa Perry of Aberdeen; his son, Steven Perry and his wife Linda of Land O Lakes, FL; his grandchildren, Catherine Owen and her husband, Jonathan of Orlando, FL; Michael Parks and girlfriend, Chazney Council of Vass, Shay Phillips and her husband, Bryan of Tampa, FL, Spencer Perry of Land O Lakes, FL; great-grandchildren, Sabastian Owen, Isabella Owen, Burke Phillips, and Roan Phillips.

Care of the family is entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home of Aberdeen.
