Curtis Alfred Weaver, 62 of Whispering Pines, passed away on July 11, 2018 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

Born on August 16, 1955 in Fairfax, Virginia to the late Edward and Frances Weaver. Curtis worked for the USPS as a letter carrier for 35 years. After his retirement, he worked for 9 years as a Police Dispatcher for Southern Pines Police Department. He had a passion for music especially Classic Rock, and he loved playing his guitars. Curtis also enjoyed football and was an avid Washington Redskins fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lance Weaver; and one stepdaughter, Susan del Castillo.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lisa Weaver; daughter, Jennifer Buccafusco (Adam); two stepchildren, Sergio de del Castillo (Walt Cybulski) and Linda de del Castillo; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Margulis; also survived by two grandchildren, Tyhra and Michael and his two cherished cats.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 3:00-4:00PM at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines. A memorial service will follow at 4:00PM.
