Doris Mae Sorrell Shoe, age 94, formerly of Moore County, died Thursday, December 21, 2023 at her home.
A funeral Service will be conducted 10:30 AM Friday, December 29, 2023 at Summer Hill Baptist Church in Carthage with Pastor Arnold Comer officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Burial will then follow at Bethesda Cemetery in Aberdeen.
Mrs. Shoe was preceded in death by her husband Larry and her son Gary.
She is survived by her daughters: Doris Jean West, Martha Jane Thuston, Carol Nicely, Mary Beth Mozingo; 14 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
