Elizabeth Jane Mackay, 97 of Pinehurst passed on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Quail Haven Retirement Village in Pinehurst.

Ms. Mackay was born October 22, 1925 in Syracuse, NY to the late Archibald and Pearl Smiley Mackay. She retired after 40 years working at Western Electric Co., Kearny, N. J., a division of Bell Telephone Laboratories. Her retirement consisted of golf, golf and more golf.
Betty is survived by her nieces Judith Tierney, Jane LaMarca, Bonnie Faucett and MaryEllen Rupert.
