Gregory W. Garner, On Sunday, March 29th, 2020, Gregory William Garner, husband, father, son and brother, passed away suddenly at the age of 48.
A native of Southern Pines, Gregg was born on January 5th, 1972 to Harold and Dorothy Garner. He graduated from Pinecrest High School and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he earned a Bachler of Science degree in Information Technology. He worked as an IT Engineer for several years until entering the field of Aviation. Gregg always had a love of flying. He was a third-generation commercial airline pilot who was a First Officer for American Airlines.
Gregg will be forever remembered as an intelligent, quick witted, humorous, caring and deeply devoted husband, father, son and brother. He is survived by his wife and best friend Kristin, their precious daughter, Gillian, his mother Dorothy, his brother, Brad and numerous extended family and friends.
