Mr. James “Jimmy” Hinton, 95, of Aberdeen, NC, died Sunday, May 6, 2018, at his home.
Service: Friday, May 11, 2018, 10:00 AM, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 160 East Vermont Avenue, Southern Pines, NC, where he was a member.
Visitation: Thursday, May 10, 2018, 6-8 PM, Simon Funeral Home Chapel, 151 South Hardin Street, Southern Pines.
Burial: Pinelawn Memorial Park, Southern Pines.
Mr. Hinton worked with Saint Anthony’s Church of Padua for over fifty years, and he was a US Army World War II veteran.
Survivors: Children, June Mack (Gloria), Daryl Hinton (Barbara), Juanita Morrison, Patrice Morrison, and Timothy Hinton; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
