Jeanette Hussey Martindale, age 74, of Putnam, NC, passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.
A private graveside service will be held at the High Falls Wesleyan Church Cemetery, with the Reverend Roger Riffe officiating. Due to the current health concerns there will be no public gatherings.
A native of Moore County, she was one of four children born to the late Burlin and Virginia Nall Hussey. Jeanette retired from the Moore County school system after 30 years of service. She loved genealogy and sharing the information she found with others. Jeanette also enjoyed panning for gold. She was preceded in death by husband: Billy Martindale: children, Nathan, David, and Anna Dare; brother: Jac kHussey.
Jeanette is survived by daughter: Melissa M. Butler; grandson: William Layne Martindale, of Carthage; sisters: Brenda Green and husband Luther, Joyce Hogan and husband Jimmie; sister-in law: Brenda Hussey and numerous nieces and nephews.
