Jefferson “Jeff” David Oldham, 37, of Aberdeen, NC passed on July 22.

At the time he was in the great outdoors, mountain biking with his older brother and a friend, the hobby he counted as his favorite. Jeff was born in Alaska but grew up in the Pinehurst area.

He loved to travel, most recently visiting Acadia National Park in Maine, and when visiting new spots he loved to hike and bike, checking out local restaurants and breweries. Jeff worked for the Aberdeen Best Buy for 10+ years and was there for the grand opening in 2005. Friends and family always counted on him for tech support, which he (usually) cheerfully supplied as he was known for his IT knowledge. His dry sense of humor and wit will be greatly missed.

Jeff is survived by his fiancée, Tara Neel; parents, Wayne and Donie Oldham of Aberdeen, NC; older brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Becky Oldham and their sons Grayson and Grant, all of Seven Lakes NC; his older sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Shaun Priest and their daughter Peyton of Pinehurst, NC; his nephew Zach Adamo of Greensboro, NC; and his older sister Christine and her husband Morgan Greer of Raleigh, NC, as well as his many dear friends and co-workers.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 27 at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines from 7-9 pm. Graveside service will be at 4pm Saturday July 28th, Beulah Hill Baptist Church, 7400 Beulah Hill Church Road, West End, NC.
